The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is a global humanitarian and advocacy organisation that finds, removes and destroys landmines, cluster munitions and unexploded bombs from places affected by conflict. MAG also provides education programmes, particularly for children, so people can live, work and play as safely as possible until they clear the land. Since 1989, MAG has helped over 18 million people in 68 countries rebuild their lives and livelihoods after war.

MAG Signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Zimbabwe in 2016. The organisation spent the whole of 2017 processing papers to obtain registration as a PVO as well as mobilising resources to commence clearance of landmines. The organisation was accredited by the Zimbabwe Mine Action Centre (ZIMAC) in October 2017 and was allocated the minefield segment stretching from Mazowe River to Rwenya River. The organisation commenced clearance in Zimbabwe in December 2017. For more about MAG click www.mag.org
