Norwegian People's Aid Humanitarian Demining (NPA HD) is the mine clearance and explosive remnants of war removal branch of the global NPA. The organisation has worked or is still working in Somalia, Sudan, Angola, Kosovo, Iraq etc
NPA HD came to Zimbabwe in 2012. After signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government, the organisation was accredited by ZIMAC and subsequently allocated minefields in Manicaland Province that is, Sheba Forest to Leacon Hill, Burma Valley and the Rusitu to Muzite Minefield.
